Things I Thought Ten Days Ago

I didn't post this ten days ago because I was messing with the template, or rather, trying to. So that date and time thingy should read January 12, 2011 2:10 AM. Just so you know.

Whilst not sleeping, I thought about internet slang, and how I never really got the hang of it. I've created a cheat sheet for myself:

• LOL= Laugh Out Loud. NOT Loser On-Line (though it could be applicable)

• LMAO= Laughing My Ass Off. NOT the sound a French cat makes.

• FTW= For The Win (or occasionally, the internet tells me, Fuck The World). NOT Football Wheels.

• Emoticons traditionally have a colon or semi-colon and a follow-up, but these can be tricky, and when in doubt, best to avoid social guffaws by saying werd rather than typing a superfluous emoticon. Remember, :p is sticking your tongue out-- ;::;pyq23+>?"} is nothing.
